Claude has over 28 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry. He spent around 15 years in underwriting roles at LLCRC, CNA Re, Arch Re and most recently Hamilton Re.  He was a founding partner of Hamilton Re (and its predecessor company, SAC Re) where he served mainly as CUO of Casualty & Specialty. He subsequently served as CUO, Partnerships and Casualty Reinsurance managing a strategic partnership with AIG and Attune, an InsurTech joint venture.

Claude spent 8 years at Guy Carpenter, initially managing the analytical offering in Toronto before moving to London to serve as part of the of executive team at Guy Carpenter Analytics for the EMEA region.

Claude is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.  He holds a B. Sc. in Biochemistry and a B. Sc. in Actuarial Sciences, both from Laval University in Quebec City, Canada.

N has over 28 years of experience in both the Bermuda and London re/insurance markets and has been dedicated to the US Individual Risk business for the past 15 years. Most recently Nik was head of Bermuda Property at Barbican Bermuda having set-up the office for the company in December 2017. He was previously head of US D&F property at Novae Bermuda and prior to this was head of Property Individual Risks at Montpelier Re Bermuda.

Prior to joining Montpelier Re he was an Executive Director at Willis North America London and Bermuda, heading-up the firm’s US Property and taking on responsibility for the development of the middle-market team. Prior to joining Willis Nik had broking roles producing and placing both International and North American insurance and reinsurance business. Throughout his career Nik has travelled extensively and has built long term trading relationships with all the major brokers across North America.

Tim Hadler has worked in the US excess casualty line of business since 1993, first in the London market as a broker at Price Forbes and then with Zurich group as an underwriter. For the last 15 years he has held underwriting management roles at XL Insurance and Argo Insurance in Bermuda.  Tim joined Argo as CUO Casualty in 2010 and built the group’s best performing business line. In addition, as CUO Emerging Markets he oversaw the creation and underwriting of many casualty operations including Dubai, London, Sao Paolo and Continental Europe. For the last 3 years Tim also Chaired the Argo Group Casualty U/W Committee which pulled together the top underwriting talent from across the group to discuss emerging issues, threats, challenges and opportunities, and ultimately to ensure that we are promoting best practice across the group.

Neville Weston was previously a Partner of Aeolus Capital Management where he served as a Senior Underwriter of the wholly-owned reinsurer, Aeolus Re Ltd. Mr. Weston has over 23 years of reinsurance industry experience during which his primary responsibilities have included risk sourcing, cedant relations and underwriting. Prior to joining Aeolus Mr. Weston was a Managing Director at Guy Carpenter, where he oversaw the Bermuda Casualty and Professional Liability operations from June 2005 to December 2009. Prior to Guy Carpenter, Mr. Weston spent 10 years as a Casualty Treaty underwriter with the Zurich Reinsurance Group in the London, New York and Bermuda markets.

Mr. Weston received a B.Sc. (Hons) in Information Systems Management in 1995 from Bournemouth University and earned his Associate in Reinsurance in 2002.

Nigel is a seasoned insurance executive having spent 30 years in the industry primarily in London and Bermuda. As founder and President of Argo’s Bermuda insurance operations he has led the creation of many successful underwriting platforms. Additional roles included EVP of Strategy and Business Development at Argo Group with responsibility for the creation of underwriting platforms in the US, Brazil, Dubai and London amongst other geographies. He also led the digitization campaign as the company sought to capitalize on the benefits of data science and enhanced technology and digital innovation. Prior to Argo he held senior underwriting management roles at AXAXL, Zurich group and Chubb.
